摘要

According to the operating characteristics of power systems, Jacobian matrix of Newton-Raphson power flow in polar coordinates is greatly simplified, and its storage size needed and the calculation of inverse are omitted. So, the need for a computer storage size is greatly decreased and the calculating speed is increased. Due to using direct iteration, the calculating process is very simple. This method may be used to solve a nonlinear equation in other fields. The paper illustrates it with a practical example.
