In vestigation of stored energy levels in power systems

摘要

Lyapunov function is used to not only estimate the stability of a power system but also represent the energy stored in a power system. By using the energy function that maps the energy variation of the system, the effect of slow change of the system load is analyzed. It is demonstrated that the stored energy measure is an indicator of the closeness of the operating point to the instability region of the system.
