This paper presents a novel Three-Phase Discontinuous Current Mode Power Factor Corrector (3 PHI -DCM-PFC) topology, which combines the Three-Phase Four-Wire Pseudo Diode Rectifier with the single switch DCM-Boost converter. The dual output voltages make this topology the best choice of a system with high power, high switching frequency and high reliability. Its PSPICE simulation results and the successful application in a 4KW 220Vdc/20A 100KHz Switching Mode Power Supply(SMPS) are given. Finally, its design equations are derived from the further analysis of the topology.
