The associated fluorite resource in Shizhuyaun Mine is abundant, but grade is low, dissemination is fine and association is comple. It's hard to recover fluorite conc. (concentrate) with good quality. In accordance with the research on process mineralogy of feed ores and on the basis of extensive tests, finally, a new technology was developed for fluorite processing called "no deslime, no desorption of reagents, addition of new flotation reagents, direct flotation (both rougher and cleaning) of fluorite from W(wolfram)-flotation tailings at room temperature, regrinding of rougher conc., centralized reprocessing of all middlings from cleaning operations, adoption of high gradient magnetic separation for intensifying of removing silicate minerals". Top quality fluorite conc. With grade CaF2>98percent and recovery about 69percent has been obtained, resulting in remarkable social and economic benefits.
