Volumetric Properties of K~+, Na~+ //Cl~-, SO_4~(2-) - H_2O System. 1. Measurement and Calculation of Partial Molar Volumes of Electrolytes in Aqueous Solutions NaCl + H_2O, KCl + H_2O, Na_2SO_4 + H_2O, and K_2SO_4 + H_2O at 298.15 K

Relative densities of aqueous solutions NaCl + H_2O, KCl + H_2O, Na_2SO_4 + H_2O, and K_2SO_4 + H_2O are measured at 298.15 K from dilution to nearly saturation. The experimental partial molar volumes of NaCl, KCl, Na_2SO_4, and K_2SO_4 are obtained from the densities of solutions. An expression which provides an accurate representation of the partial molar volumes of NaCl, KCl, Na_2SO_4, and K_2SO_4 is derived.
