摘要

Fatigue is the loss of stiffness of structural member due to crack growth developing from initial flaw size to through thickness subject to cyclic loading for many repeated applications. This paper is focused on the fatigue assessment of tubular T-joint geometry in the atmospheric environment subject to constant amplitude axial loading applied at the brace member (figure 1). The results have suggested an important effect of the weld size and the weld profile (figure 2).
