The effect of zinc oxide in Raney copper catalysts on methanol synthesis, water gas shift, and methanol steam reforming reaction

Raney copper catalysts prepared by leaching have been doped with precipitated zinc oxide using a novel preparation technique. The resulting catalysts maintained approximately the same surface area with varying coverage of the copper surface by zinc oxide.
