摘要

A new FIRE (Fuzzy Inference Ruled by Else-action) filter for images corrupted by impulse noise is presented. Due to the adoption filter is able to combine noise cancellation and detail preservatioin very well. A method for the automatic generation of the fuzzy rulebase using the Genetic Algorithms is also presented. The experimental results show that the proposed approach performs significantly better than other operators in the literature.
