Expert system for evaluating dam safety of Longyangxia Project on the Yellow River

摘要

This research proceeding from objective reality of Longyangxia Project builds a second generation expert system by means of combining safety system engineering with electronic computer technology and specific knowledge in hydraulic and hydroelectric field, namely, expert system for evaluating dam safety of Longyangxia Project. This expert system bases on the causal network and with a deep inference capability. It had solved the key technical problems of "combination explosion" and "search explosion" successfully which are impossible to be solve by the first generation expert system. Expert system for evaluating dam safety of Longyangxia Project has vigorous ability to represent and acquire the knowledge and possesses powerful function to solve the complex problems. It is possible to omnibearingly trace monitoring, forecasts and pretreats. For various cases of state combination (as facts of inference), its inference is over usually in less than tow minutes, and gives out the corresponding conclusion of problem and appropriate treatment countermeasures.
