In the paper, a program making system for CATV based on the Chinese Windows environment is introduced. The system possesses plentiful program making functions. It can not only receive and retransmit the teletext information, but also make other self-making programs. It can give full play to the advantages of the CATV, which is having plentiful TV channels and large quantity of information capacity. The system has good user interfaces and utilizes the multimedia technology, the embedment of simultaneous sounds opens up a new field for program making.
