2D ACPAR FACILITY AT UNIVERSITY OF MADRAS

摘要

A two dimensional angular correlation of positron annihilation radiation (2D-ACPAR) apparatus for the study of Fermi surface features of technologically important materials and high temperature superconductors has been installed in the University of Madras, Madras, India. In this paper we report the features of the detectors in use, the technology applied to convert the medical camera to the positron camera, its importance and the methods in developing the experimental facility for the studies.
