EDUCATION OF FORMATIVE ARTS AND DESIGN USING COMPUTER GRAPHICS

In educational facilities of the art course, three dimension computer graphics seem to become useful to education of new formative arts and design. Expression in and production of three dimension computer graphics, which are quite different from the conventional method of drawing pictures, are performed through processing information in a virtual space of computers. In addition, "forms" are not restricted to geometrical forms generated by numerical formulas but include generation of comparatively free forms by combining steps such as rotation, move, enlarging and reduction. This may cause very interesting results. This paper introduces an example of education in which works are being produced while forming cubic articles from planes. This is based on an idea quite opposite of the method of replacing cubic articles by planes, which have been important drawing picture such as dessins and sketches.
