To minimise the effect of albedo flux and heat flux on the radiators, the AZW-LA-II white paint is used as thermal coating for the swift BAT and XRT radiators in spacecraft. The thermal coatings committee at GFSC recommends the following thermo-optical properties for this coating in the swift mission, when it is not exposed to direct solar radiation. The solar absorptance is 0.08 and hemispherical emittance is 0.91 at beginning of life (BOF). The solar absorptance is 0.12 and hemispherical emittance is 0.90 at the end of life (EOF). After the application of AZW-LA-II white paint on the radiators, these radiators has undergone thermal vacuum cycle test and was found that the paint is in good shape.
