An intelligent fuzzy cotnrol system for prebaked anode aluminum reduction cells was developed by comprehensively using intelligent control techniques including fuzzy contrl, neural networks and expert systme. It consists of four sub-systems called real-time control, physical-fields dynamic simulation, cell state diagnosis, and organization & supervision. Running results on 160 kA prebaked anode aluminum reduction cells verified its great value to the energy saving in the electrolytic process.
