Spectral representation of color images

摘要

An approach to color image representation is described that allowshigh accuracy in the spectral dimension and that leads to possibilitiesin color image analysis and to novel analysis methods. A color image canbe stored in the same space in the computer's memory as a conventionalred, green, and blue image, which makes it possible to reconstruct thewhole color spectrum of each pixel. Fast optically realizable parallelprocessing implementations are also discussed
