Operations Systems Strategic Plan for Exchange and Exchange Access Operations

The Operations Systems Strategic Plan (OSSP) is Bellcore's five to ten year,forward-looking view of OS support for Bell Operating Company (BOC)* operations.Such OS support has major objectives of lowered expense,reduced capital investment,and increased profits through automated support of new services.Virtually all exchange and exchange access activities are analyzed witb respect to opportunities for computer support of operations.OSSP/3 represents Belleore's most current view of what can be done to automate BOC operations as we go forward into a new business and technologies environment.
