SOPRANE is an operational ocean mesoscale forecasting system aimed at routinely providing real-time nowcast and forecast bulletins of the mesoscale ocean circulation in the Eastern North-Atlantic basin to support sea activities such as Naval Operations and oceanographic research cruises.
