Abstract: This paper presents a new medical communication service which supports consultation procedures in the modern tele-radiology. The system's perspectives and requirements are studied and analyzed by considering an interactive communication environment, which consists of geographically distributed entities working together and channels for either synchronous or asynchronous inter-communication. !10
