Separation control of a thin airfoil by projectile vortex-rings

Generally,thin airfoils in turbomachinery are not thick enough to install a device for controlling separatin [1],[2],[3].Oure proposal for resolving this difficulty is to add rich momentum to hte separation region through the separated shear layer from the outside flow region,away from the airfoil,by vortex rings.
