From Varied Networks To A Unified Regime: Creating A Quality National Park System In China Towards A Healthy Environment Management

The unique ideological and societal evolution of modern China over the past 60 years has shaped China as a sovereign state to hold varied nationwide parks. However, sporadic dreams of park creation and loosely organized networks have not resulted in a decent or globally recognizable national park system. The authors are exploring how different plans were proposing for park creation or park system building. Similar policy programs have been examined, including 2031 sites from 9 nationwide park networks, and pilot national park creation projects in Yunnan and Heilongjiang. By focusing their attention on continental China's nationwide park networks' evolutionary course and current situation, the authors are analyzing how different networks are distributing geographically, how the major networks have been used and where their potential benefits and possible pitfalls exist. Envisioning a quality national park system in mind, they are examining several contributable efforts which might facilitate the desirable system formation. With a nationwide healthy environment and Chinese people's healthy good in mind, the authors conclude with five particular proposals to help improve the varied networks towards a unified national park system in China.
