Application of Multimedia and Internet Technology in e-Learning of Industrial Design

摘要

With the application of continuously advanced multimedia and Internet technology, learning becomesrnmore efficient and effective. A program has been written online to show that there is significant reduction in therntime required for students to learn the subject of Tooling for Manufacture (i.e. Mould Design). Students canrnself-study the subject of mould design through the Web. Through the multimedia and Internet technology, it canrnimprove student learning, thinking and performance. Again, MIT favours the strategy of active learning.
