In this paper we will confront how an idea is conceived and what all are the different stages throughrnwhich it passes before it takes the form of a successful commercial product. It gives details of impartingrncreativity and synergy to an idea. The need is particularly emphasized. It also describes various design andrnmanufacturing strategies that should be adopted in order to transform a prototype into a reliable, cost-effectivernand commercial product. The different configurations of innovations are also discussed along with theirrnreasons for motivation. This paper also includes the importance of customer need analysis and emphasizes onrncustomer satisfaction to achieve success.
