摘要

In this paper, by using the temple stage as a presentation, the visual characteristics of traditional performance spaces in Lingnan are analyzed, including the vision in the context of city space and the sightlines in the context of viewing site. The study attempts to reveal the double meaning of survival and pattern of the traditional performance space in Lingnan, and presents a rational analytical methodology suitable for this typology, which may provide inspirations for the design of modern theatres and urban spaces in Lingnan.
