Web Services Based Wagering System for the Best Odds

One of the most profitable areas in B2C e-Commerce is wagering on the internet and mobile devices. Most betting sites are targeted to individual users rather than corporate entities. These systems are designed without any industry wide standards, which could help in closely integrating the services offered. In this paper, we propose an architecture, which can be leveraged for B2B wagering. A prototype system is implemented. The system will enable the bookmakers to offer their services to intermediate entities. The end users will be able to access multiple odds for an event from these intermediaries. The end users will be able to obtain the best odds for each event without explicitly searching through the odds offered by the different bookmakers.
