摘要

High efficient adsorbent derived from sewage sludge is produced through chemical pyrolysis; the adsorbent's efficiency has been studied through cadmium and nickel iron in the batch adsorption reactor. The effects of pH, contact time, initial concentration of the adsorbate, and adsorbent's dosage on the adsorption efficiency were investigated. The absorption isotherm was represented either, the isotherms were described well by both the Freundilich and the Langmuir equation models. The results indicate that the contact time of 60 min was necessary for the adsorption to reach equilibrium, the optimum pH value in the range of 5.5—6.0, the adsorption capacity calculated from Langmuir isotherm was 16 mg/g, 9 mg/g respectively, the adsorption capability is superiority, so the adsorbent is a very high efficient to removal the concerned mental iron in the aqueous solutions.
