Treating Urban Wastewater with New Type Two-stage Biological Contact Oxidation Technology

摘要

Two-stage biological contact oxidation technique is employed to treat urban wastewater of a municipal with a population of 60000. The results show that this technique has the benefits of no need for sludge return, low production of sludge, no inflation in sludge, stable operation, simple process, fewer equipments, low cost, etc. The effluent quality is COD: 76.6 mg/L, BOD_5: 27.9 mg/L, SS: 6.9 mg/L, completely meets the national wastewater discharge standards.
