摘要

Sub-soiling and deep loosening in sugarcane fields is one of the important measures to maintain high quality, high yield and drought resisted cultivation of sugarcane. By practicing subsoiling and deep loosening with the subsoiling plough and deep loosening machine mounted on medium or large type of tractor of 45~110 kW, the tillering ratio of sugarcane increased by 34%~45%, the stalks of sugarcane increased in number by 42% with its over-all length increasing by 26cm per stalk and its weight increasing by 21.2 g per stalk, compared to those furrowed by livestock power. Furthermore, soil water content increased by 0.5%~1.5% and by 1.7% in drought period, and sugarcane output increased by 16.26 tons per sq. hm. Purchasing the subsoiling plough and deep loosening machine to serve commercially, 89,124 yuans of profit and tax can be obtained in each year's in 5-month operation.
