A study has been carried out according to a model test on the construction method of tensile-integrity cable dome: firstly, the author summarized the advantages of the methods adopted by the engineers of established structures; secondly, elements of the model were assembled by way of the mentioned methods; thirdly, four different ways were adopted in the hardening procedure, the kinds of mainly straining elements were called "Key Elements", the author brought forward 5 criteria for the choice of "Key Element" additionally.
