This paper is an attempt to study the behavior of curved concrete-filled steel struts. Nonlinear finite element programming ABAQUS 6. 5 was used for the analysis of load versus deformation curves of the struts members. The theoretical results show generally good agreement with those of tests. Failure modes between curved steel tubular members and curved concrete-filled steel struts were compared. The effects of several parameters, such as initial curvature, slenderness ratio, initial curve shapes and the residual stresses on the behavior of the composite members were analyzed and discussed.
