Some Considerations on Self-Organizing Collective Problem Solving

摘要

A conceptual model of human collective problem solving is portrayed, by extending a cognitive theory, the Schema Theory into the context of collective problem solving. It is argued that a collective schema for solving specific problem may emerge from the interactions among local problem-solvers who own local schemata for locally conceived sub-problems. This collective problem solving system is a sort of "Knowledge Ecosystems", and the dynamics of the emergence and evolution of the collective schema may be studied in an ecological manner.
