摘要

Carbonation is the aging of concrete structures, one natural phenomenon. Carbonation to the surface of the steel induces the corrosion of the steel and the fail of the durability of concrete structures. In the realkalization(ERA), principles of the electrolysis and eletro-osmosis are applied. In the electric field established between the steel and the mesh in the electrolyte, hydroxyl ions are produced by the electrolysis at the cathode and meanwhile the electrolyte moves into the concrete around the steel, which serve to recover the PH value of the concrete around the steel and thus to prevent the corrosion of the steel. In the paper, on the basic of the analysis of the realkalization mechanism, a theoretical model for the realkalization control is established, which serve to found the theoretical basic for the further application of the technique.
