(1) In the Model 1, the hot spot temperature of A part is 106.4 (℃) at the secondary winding (LV) and hot spot temperature of C part is 125 (℃) at the secondary winding. In the Model 2, hot spot temperature of A part is 100.1(℃) at the primary winding (HV) and hot spot temperature of B part is 89.72 at the primary winding (HV). The hot spot temperature of C part is 127 (℃) at the secondary winding. Therefore Model 2 shows improved cooling performance and this result appeared by two or three duct layers. (2) In temperature rise test result of prototype transformer, the saturation temperature of HV winding is 107(℃) and that of LV winding is 91(℃). The temperature rise result is similar to thermal analysis. (3) Thermal distribution of transformer tank is flowed from lower part to upper part is verified due to upper and lower ventilator by infrared camera image.
