Study on Control Techniques of Travel Characteristics of Vacuum Circuit Breaker with Permanent Magnetic Actuator

摘要

With regard to vacuum circuit breaker, the travel characteristic of moving contacts has a great influence on the interrupting capacity of a circuit breaker and its service life. This paper has presented a method for opening travel characteristic control, which is realized through control of switching-in time of opening and closing coil. The feasibility of the method was proven by the laboratory test.
