摘要

The FLEC (field and laboratory emission cell) is becoming a standard method of characterizing pollutant emissions from building materials. In this study, a simple mathematical model is presented for evaluating the emissions of volatile organic compounds from wet painting in a standard FLEC. Various factors governing the emissions are summarized in the model. The factors related to the source and to the environment were successfully separated. An. experiment is performed with a water-based emulsion paint to validate the model.
