摘要

Novel immunosensors based on antibodies immobilized in an electrochemically grown iridium oxide matrix have been prepared. The iridium oxide matrix acts as a hydrophilic, highly porous, three-dimensional matrix that encapsulates antibodies and retains their activity. To study the potential analytical properties of the matrix, a non-competitive immunoassay was developed to determine the concentration of RIgG present in samples. Using alkaline phosphatase labeled anti-RIgG and hydroquinone diphosphate as substrate, the oxidation of hydroquinone produced by enzymatic hydrolysis was amperometrically detected at +420 mV. The sensors were capable of detecting antigen concentrations as low as 10~(-10) M.
