摘要

Electroactive polymeric films containing crown ether functionalities can be readily deposited on Pt electrodes by anodic polymerization of [4,5-bis(3-methoxysalicylideneiminato)benzo-15-crown-5]nickel(Ⅱ). The resultant films are (electro)chemically stable. Exposure of these poly{[4,5-bis(3-methoxysalicylideneiminato)benzo-15-crown-5]nickel(Ⅱ)} films to Ba~(2+) ions results in uptake of the latter. Although neither the Ba~(2+) nor the crown ether ligand to which it is attached are electroactive, the crown ether's proximity to the Ni(salen) functionality influences the Ni(salen) electrochemical response. The metal ion uptake also results in a systematic change in the acoustic wave response on AT-cut quartz crystal resonators; the effect is predominantly gravimetric, rather than viscoelastic. The data suggest that these films may have utility as Ba~(2+) ion sensors in the micromolar concentration range.
