摘要

This paper deals with the induction pre-heating of a billet in order to upgrade its formability during heading. Some parameters have to be controlled with care in order to ensure the high quality. Therefore, it is quite difficult to carry out. The need to keep the material in-between two close temperatures T_1 and T_2 requires the use of an accurate pre-heating process -such as induction heating.
