摘要

This paper presents the simplified full ventilation system models of a 700kW bulb turbine generator. By using the 3D finite element method, 3D fluid fields are analyzed and calculated numerically, and convection heat-transfer coefficients which depend on the velocity of fluid are obtained further. Moreover, rotor magnetic pole and stator temperature fields are calculated. In order to prevent the erosion of the stator shell by stream, different designs for the shell of stator are considered, and their effect on stator temperature field are further studied.
