摘要

The research results have indicated that the uranium metallogeny setting and environment in the study area are different from those in the east part of China. The east part of China is located in a continental margin mobile belt of the Pacific tectonic domain, as an "extensional geotectonic setting. While the study area is situated in a special tectonic setting which is called continental margin mobile belt of the Tethys tectonic domain and uranium mineralization is closely correlated with regional compressive tectonic environment. The Compression Red-basin System is greatly different from the Taphrogeny Red-basin System in regional setting, basin feature and mineralization characteristics. Making a comparison between Taphrogeny Red-basin System and the Compression Red-basin System is meaningful for looking for different type uranium deposits in different geotectonic setting. Practice has indicated that research on the relationship between sandstone type uranium deposits occurred in the interstratified oxidation zone and regional geological setting. The study of its metallogenic mechanism can provide regional criteria for guiding the same type uranium deposit reconnaissance in the west part of China.
