摘要

Frequency synthesis in modern wireless transceivers requires high frequency, and for many circuit architectures, high power dividers. In this work, a novel 10 GHz injection locked RF prescaler integrated circuit is discussed. This new architecture also reduces the dependence on quality factor of integrated components for LC-resonant structures by utilizing transistor and layout parasitics at the frequencies of interest. A brief discussion of the nonlinear analysis is made. An emphasis on practical layout issues for such a differential divider is also provided.
