Coupling Measure and Law Discrimination between Industry Development and Eco-environment in Wuhan City Group

City Group in China is becoming the leading force in regional development and the most dynamic and potential region,while the eco-environment problems the industrial development brought about is also becoming increasingly serious.Measuring the interaction state between industrial development and eco-environment change in City Group,understanding the coupling law between them have the important theoretical and practical significance to exploring the coupled development model between industry and eco-environment,promoting the sustainable economic growth in City Group and establishing the resource-saving and environment-friendly City Group.By deviation method,the coupling measure model was reformed,and an integrated indicator system of industry development and eco-environment change were constructed.Using this model,the temporal and spatial variations of coupling degree in Wuhan City Group from 1997 to 2006 were calculated,and the law of coupling degree change with the industry development was verified.Results show that:(1)The coupling degree in Wuhan City Group showed a rising trend in 1997-2006;(2)In 2006,the coupling degree in Wuhan City is higher and more than half of the industry belong to the primary and intermediate coordination stage,and other citys'are lower and most of them belong to mild disorder,brink coordination and grudging coordination stage;(3)In 2006,the coupling degree of resource-intensive industry including ferrous metal industry,textile industry,petroleum process industry,chemical industry,smelting and rolling industry,electricity production and supply industry in most cities belong to eco-environment lag category,while agricultural by-products processing industry,furniture manufacturing industry,paper,printing,education and cultural industry,rubber and plastic products industry,metal machinery manufacturing industry,transportation equipment manufacturing industry,telcommunication and electronic equipment manufacturing industry belong to economic lag category;(4)With the industrial growth index as well as the industrialization process,the coupling degree between industry and eco-environment in Wuhan City Group showed"U"shaped change law.
