Application of Downhole Choking Technology in Changqing Gasfield

摘要

Some of the gas wells in Changqing Gasfield have suffered severe plugging problems with the pressured gathering lines. A research has been conducted on the downhole flow control techniques. On the base of enormous researches and intermediate simulations, 17 field experiments have been performed on 10 wells, and the aim to choke the flow within the hole has been accomplished and remarkable economic and social efficiencies have been realized.
