Reinforced normal strength concrete (NSC) panels with and without fibres and ultra high performance concrete (UHPC) panels have been investigated experimentally under biaxial compression-tension loading. At this the effects of lateral tensile stress and cracking on the compression strength were investigated. Based on the experimental results, a proposal for the reduction of the compression strength of the cracked reinforced non-fibred and steel fibre concrete versus the applied tensile strain was developed. In addition, the stress-strain-relationship valid for uniaxial loading has been modified for biaxial compressive-tensile loading. Detailed reports about these tests are given by Fehling et. al. (2007a) and (2007b).
