摘要

This paper presents a real-time Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) estimation performed by the distribution level phasor measurement unit, Universal Grid Analyzer (UGA). The hardware and software architectures of the UGA are discussed followed by the introduction of SNR estimation algorithm. To verify the effectiveness of both SNR estimation algorithm and its implementation, a real world test bench is set up in the laboratory. The experimental results validate the implementation of the existing SNR algorithm which has maximum of 5 dB error in real-time measurement.
