SKiM - an Advanced Power Module Family for Inverters

摘要

SKiM - an advanced power module family for medium power based on pressure contact technology is presented. The baseless structure of the SKiM leads to improved reliability and allows easy variation of the substrates for flexible current rating within the same package. The thermal behaviour of the SKiM with different substrates is analysed. Together with an intelligent snap-on gate driver the SKiM provides the solution for a compact and cost effective inverter.
