Using 2-D and 3-D fluid code for PDP cell, new PDP cell designs have been suggested. The simulation results were compared with experimental data. Particle-in-cell simulation has been performed for capacitively coupled single- and dual-frequency radio-frequency discharges in order to understand the effect of the frequency and the current pulse shape of the driving circuit.
