IT has brought us into the information age. The challenge we are facing now is developing new computing technologies for the IT reform and involving IT in various technology innovations. The following topics are discussed in this paper. Cross-platform achieved by java-CORBA paradigm but challenged by application demands. Software agent development is challenged by intelligence paradigm. The inductive intelligence makes agent behave like the reality human agent behavior is certainly wanted. The Object-Oriented implementation may be less logic but be able to make the agent closer to the reality. The new communication service demands require communication paradigm shift from computer enabled communication to enabling various devices for computing based communications. Biology economy has been expected to bring a new economy age in the near future. Genome based computing has been significant for today's biology research and economy.
