A Communication Protocol for Socially-Responsible Agents

摘要

This paper introduces a communication protocol suitable for socially-responsible agents by which the agents reduce the overall time of the communication discourse by sending additional informative messages. The introduced communication protocol is constructed in such a way that the additional message types do not need to be sent, however, if they are then they can improve the communication discourse substantially. If the additional messages are not sent, the communication protocol breaks down to the classical contract net protocol described by Smith and Davis.
