A Parallel Object-oriented Environment for Cluster Computing

摘要

A parallel object model for cluster-based architecture is presented in this paper. We study the dynamic load balancing strategies and threshold-based dynamic load-balancing mechanism on the object model. A prototype runtime system is implemented and example programs are executed on a Linux cluster to evaluate the performance of the object model and proposed dynamic load balancing strategies.
