摘要

Human capital is the engine of economic growth and economic development and plays a vital role in reducing the economic gap among countries and regions. The paper sets up a layered evaluation index system of region human capital from three aspects of knowledge, skills and health to reflect region human capital level. Every aspect is expressed as several indictors to respect corresponding human capital level. According to the established evaluation system, the paper quantitatively analyses the human capital level of central China and the whole China. Last, the paper concretely estimates the advantages and the disadvantages of six provinces and puts forward some feasible suggestions.
